The Big Trip across the US

Hi Folks

Everything is coming to fruition...I have 3 months leave, I sold my telescope, my bike is tuned, my body is fit, my itinerary is at the draft stage, and I'm feeling that it is really going to happen!

I'll be using the Adventure Cycling Association Northern Tier bicycling route maps.

I still have to decide what I'm going to do when I reach Seattle late Sunday evening. Do I get a ride to Anacortes with Airporter which would mean I'd arrive around 1:30am or do I go to the local KOA camping ground and get some sleep?

If I camp at KOA the next day I have the option of taking the Airporter ride, or assemble the bike and ride through Seattle, catch some ferries, ride some more and end up in Anacortes a few days later. The other option is to transport the bike into Seattle and catch a bus.
